PP-GF60-0403 P10/10-XH Polypropylene with 60% ash content is reinforced with long glass fibers bonded to the polypropylene matrix. The pellets are cylindrical and contain embedded 10 mm long fibers. CELSTRAN-produced parts exhibit exceptional mechanical properties, including high strength, stiffness, and resistance to high temperatures. The presence of the fiber skeleton enhances the notched impact strength at both high and low temperatures. The long fiber reinforcement reduces deformation under stress. The molded parts have a uniform shrinkage to minimize warping. Complex parts can be consistently manufactured using injection molding. The material is commonly used for functional and structural components in automotive applications.
